Been reflecting on the good fortune to work with the Iyengar Yoga school way back in the day. An auspicious friend, Narapriya encouraged me to start the training when I arrived back from Asia in the autumn 1995. I qualified as pre-“Sudaka” 10th November 1997 after over two years of heading from Newcastle-upon-Tyne down to the coast at Washington in County Durham to work with the gracious Margaret Austin who diligently took us through the foundation Iyengar Institute teacher syllabus. Many a cold night heading back home I remember.

Back in one of my favourite places during this summer season. The hammock between the Cypresses. Also. In between retreats. We just successfully hosted the “Centro Budista de Valencia”, where Maitrighosha and friends led a retreat on the Five Spiritual Faculties. Coming up in an intimate Music And Meditation workshop and Retreat with our old friend David Minguillon from Tenerife.
